Mark Kluemke

Mark Kluemke is a Financial Advisor committed to helping people achieve their financial goals for retirement. He offers a wide range of financial solutions to both individuals and small businesses. By providing sound financial guidance, Mark helps to better equip people to identify and reach their goals because they are able to make informed decisions.

A graduate of Illinois College in Jacksonville, IL., Mark started in the industry in 1988 as an advisor. He then spent the next 10 years training and developing advisors in Illinois and Michigan. Mark became an independent advisor in 2000, and now leverages the skills he’s developed to help benefit his clients.

Mark has a passion for teaching people how money works, which reflects his commitment to client education. By establishing meaningful relationships with clients, he provides the counseling and resources to identify their goals, envision their retirement years, and develop a blueprint for the rest of their life. Mark feels that the most rewarding aspect of his career is seeing clients implement the recommendations they developed together and experience the difference it makes in their lives.

Mark has been married to his wife, Amy, for 30+ years. He values the relationships he has built within his business and community and feels fortunate to have many clients that he can call friends. Because he has been in the business for many years, he is able to see the difference his financial planning has made for families in the community throughout their lifetimes.

Mark enjoys spending his free time with family, watching sports, and helping people. He is passionate about making an impact in the community. He is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and a Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table.

Fun facts about Mark:

  1. His favorite experience: A trip to Banff with his family which included white water rafting, a helicopter ride, and the opportunity to witness the culture of wildlife mixed with city life in downtown Banff.
  2. If he could have dinner with any three people, his choices would include Joe Montana (to learn the inside scoop and interactions of events he’s watched as a football fan), Robin Williams (whose movies and stand-up he always enjoyed), and his grandparents (who he would have loved to have introduced to his wife and kids and appreciate their stories as an adult).

Michael Wollenberg

Mike Wollenberg is a Financial Advisor with The America Group. He specializes in helping his clients find the money they are currently losing unknowingly and unnecessarily. Mike’s goal is to increase his client’s future standard of living by utilizing what he knows to be true about money. He strives to utilize strategies that help make his clients more money without needing to take on more risk.

Mike has a Bachelor of Science degree in Management with an emphasis in International Business and a minor in Chinese from Missouri State University. To complete his degree, he also went to college at Shaanxi University in Xi’an, China. He is set to graduate from the University of Missouri Saint Louis with an MBA in Finance in 2020. Mike is currently licensed for the Series 7, 66, and Life and Health insurance.

Positively impacting the lives of others through maximizing the efficiency of their hard-earned dollars is one of Mike’s passions. He believes that he can positively influence his clients not by telling them what he knows to be true about money, but by showing them exactly what he implements for himself.

Mike is most proud of mentoring new students that joined in his fraternity. He helped establish a system of accountability for time management and keeping a high GPA. He remembers how stressful his first year of college was and takes pride in helping new students maintain a positive college experience.

If Mike could have dinner with anyone, real or fiction, he’d choose George Washington and Michael Scott. As a history enthusiast, the American Revolutionary War is one of Mike’s favorite time periods to study. As for Michael Scott, his dinner parties seem like they’d be a really fun time.

Mike spends his free time appreciating the outdoors. He enjoys his free time, hiking, mountain biking, bow hunting, fishing, and golfing. One of Mike’s favorite experiences was getting to hike on the world’s most dangerous hiking trail on a sacred mountain in China. This hike is completed during the night, so you can view the sunrise on the very top of the mountain while America was viewing the sunset.

Sean Loetscher*

Sean Loetscher is a financial consultant with The America Group and comes to his position as a financial services representative with a unique approach: he helps people find money they are losing unknowingly and unnecessarily. By identifying this money, Sean can then help client use it to solidify their financial future preferably without impacting their current lifestyle.

Sean graduated from the University of Missouri – Columbia with a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration. Sean majored in Finance and Banking along with an emphasis in Real Estate. Helping people create a worry-free future is something he is passionate about, and a key part of what he brings to his position at The America Group.

Helping others extends outside of his job. Sean coached baseball for two years with the same organization that he was once a part of. He’s proud that he can give back by helping other kids grow and develop into young men.

While growing up, Sean spent a lot of summers in Gilbertsville, KY, but currently he enjoys going out west to ski in the winter as the highlight of his year. If he could have dinner with anyone, living or dead, they would be Gary Vaynerchuk, due to his ability to be his genuine self no matter what anyone tells him, and Kobe Bryant because of his unmatched commitment both in and out of sports, and his perspective that he was a small part in a big plan and lived every day without regret.

In his free time, Sean enjoys watching the remade Hawaii Five-0 and spending time with friends and family out on the Kentucky Lake.

Thomas Sullivan

Thomas Sullivan is a Financial Services Representative at The America Group. He works with individuals, couples, and businesses to help facilitate their financial goals and provide education and resources for his clients. Thomas graduated from Maryville University with a Bachelor of Science in Financial Services. He served as a College Financial Representative Intern at Northwestern Mutual while in school before being hired at The America Group.

The main goal of Thomas’ work is to empower his clients to achieve their financial goals. He is very proud that everyday he can make a strong and direct impact on the lives of many people by preparing them to succeed financially and helping them avoid unforeseen financial struggles. Showing a client the power of being efficient with the resources that they have is what Thomas focuses on.

Outside of work Thomas can be found hiking, biking, play golf or spending time with friends and family. Thomas loves anything outdoors and is always looking to try something new.

Collin McCarty*

Collin McCarty, RICP joined The America Group in 2000 and is an award-winning expert in retirement income planning.

Throughout McCarty’s 24 years of industry experience, he has received the Ohio National Financial Services’ Executive Council and Wall of Fame awards on more than one occasion.

He is most proud of his family, his wife who is also his business partner and their two children.

When off the clock, you can find McCarty spending time with his family, golfing or biking.

He’s also a huge fan of National Parks. Last summer, he and his family visited seven National Parks and Monument Valley (Navajo Nation). McCarty plans to visit more and next on his radar is Acadia in Maine and the Freedom Trail in Boston.

Chris Lawrence

Chris Lawrence is a dedicated agent focusing on serving families to help them meet their financial and life goals.

Lawrence enjoys meeting new people, hearing their story and introducing his clients to efficient strategic concepts that best suits them in accomplishing their goals. He is proud of his clients and is honored to serve people who value their family and strive to make a difference.

He graduated from Murray State University with a finance degree in 2002 and has served clients in the financial and insurance industry since 1999. He joined The America Group in 2015.

Most people don’t know Lawrence is a collegiate pastor for Hardin Baptist Church and a basketball junkie. He roots for the Murray State Racers and the Kansas Jayhawks.

Lawrence feels blessed to be married to his wife, Brandy and to have their three children, Graham, Brax and Hannah. All of his free time is spent with his family.

Jeffrey Smith

Jeffrey Smith is a career agent for The America Group. He joined the company in 2008.

He is most passionate about building relationships and being able to help people.

Jeffrey received his bachelor’s degree in management and marketing with a minor in history at William Jewell College on a baseball scholarship. Before working at The America Group, he spent 16 years as a supervisor at Dixon Distributing Company, a distributor of Anheuser Busch products.

Jeffrey is most proud of his family and he’s a hardcore baseball fan. His favorite moment was being able to witness in person a St. Louis Cardinals World Championship game with his wife and daughter.

Bryan Bloom

Bryan serves as a CPA at The America Group. He spends most of his time coaching other financial professionals. He provides hands-on coaching, meeting with the financial professional and their clients in real life live interactions. He is the only person to have been awarded both the Navigator Award (2010) and the Tschantz Lifetime Achievement Award (2020) from Ohio National Financial Services.
He graduated in 1976 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy from University of Illinois. In 1977 he earned his CPA designation, and in 1989 his Master’s Degree (MBA) from the University of Illinois.

Bryan is passionate about applying the Internal Revenue Code in the most efficient way possible for clients in retirement. The Internal Revenue Code provisions do not require the filing of an income tax return during retirement if a person’s retirement income is structured correctly.

He’s most proud of receiving The Navigator Award, since it is awarded based on an individual’s integrity.

His favorite experience has been exploring different countries and people groups through worldwide travel, and he spends his free time interacting with his grandchildren. If Bryan could have dinner with anyone, he’d choose Jesus Christ because he would love to have a road to Emmaus experience to ask anything.

Chester Lawrence

Chester is a financial representative with The America Group. He joined the company in 2004 with the goal of helping clients achieve their financial goals and building relationships that feel more like partners working together to meet their goals.

Chester received his bachelor’s and master’s degree in education at the University of Kansas. He resides in Vienna, IL with his family. An interesting thing to know about Chester is that he worked in a prison for several years, but today enjoys the experience of watching the spiritual and educational growth of his family.

Amy Romack*

Amy works in the fields of Life, Disability, Group & Individual Medical, Medicare Supplement, Long Term Care Insurance & Annuities.

Before joining The America Group, Amy gained experience as an A.D. Banker & Company Life & Health Corse. She also participates in continuing education courses each year, has been the Office Administrator for Lungwitz Financial Services since 2012 while working alongside her Mentor Ronald Lungwitz, and she has been a NAIFA member since 2014.

Amy’s focus lies in SERVING clients and the community, and helping those clients to establish a firm foundation to build their Financial House. She takes pride in educating clients based on facts and not opinions, so they make intelligent decisions while building their financial strategy. Building a caring and close relationship with her clients and their families, let’s them know they can count on her to help in any situation they may face.

Raising her children has brought her joy and pride and watching them grow into young adults that are such hard workers and creators. She taught them the importance of caring for the wellbeing of others and treating others as they want to be treated. Amy values family and you will find her spending her free time with her huge family, walking her dogs, and cooking BBQ or gardening on the weekends when her schedule allows.

If she could have dinner with anyone, she would choose Mary Kay Ash to thank her for creating a company to enrich the lives of others, and instilling the Golden rule of God first, family second and career third. Amy would also like to have dinner with Maynard O. Romack, because she loves all of his stories and that he still can remember things that have occurred over his wise 98 years.
